Arrive at the gateway to Kinchega National Park before setting your eyes on the Menindee Lakes, home to a variety of magnificent waterbirds including pelicans, spoonbills, egrets, cormorants & swans.

The best time to see the wildlife is at dawn or dusk to foreground the beautiful colours of the outback.

While you enjoy the spectacular views, why not throw a line in to catch the finest freshwater fish including; cod, perch, European carp, crayfish & catfish then take you catch back to the park & make use of the free electric BBQ's.

Menindee Lakes Menindee has a unique position in Outback NSW Nestled between the lakes & the Darling River. A mecca for bird watchers (we have more species of birds than Kakadu NT) & a fisherman's paradise.
